Welcome to Flashback! By using our mobile app and website (together, the “Service”), you agree to the following Terms of Use (“Terms”). Please read them carefully.

1. Use of the Service

Flashback allows users to create events, invite others, and take and share photos that are revealed 24 hours later. You agree to use the Service only for lawful, personal, and non-commercial purposes.

You must be at least 13 years old to use the Service.

2. Accounts and Privacy

You may be required to create an account or provide basic information (e.g. phone number) to use certain features. You are responsible for keeping your account secure.

3. User Content

You retain all rights to the photos you upload. However, by using the Service, you grant Flashback a limited license to host and display your content solely within the app for the intended functionality (e.g. group sharing after the unlock period).

You agree not to upload content that is illegal, abusive, offensive, or infringes on someone else's rights. We reserve the right to remove content or suspend accounts that violate these Terms.

4. Subscriptions and Payments

Flashback offers optional paid subscriptions and in-app purchases. By purchasing a plan, you agree to the pricing, billing, and renewal terms shown at the time of purchase. Subscriptions renew automatically unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.

All purchases are final and non-refundable except as required by law or Apple’s App Store policies.

5. App Availability

We aim to keep Flashback running smoothly, but we may update, change, or remove features at any time. We are not liable for any disruption or loss resulting from service interruptions.

6. Disclaimer of Warranty

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available.” We make no warranties or guarantees about availability, accuracy, or reliability. Use the Service at your own risk.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Flashback and its creators are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising out of or related to your use of the Service.

8. Modifications

We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make significant changes, we will notify users via the app or our website. Continued use of the Service after changes means you agree to the updated Terms.
